Easy landmark

The beautiful and enormous Copper Beech Tree next to the gate is pictured above is your best landmark. It towers above everything.  The sign board is also usually outside and has small white reflectors on it if you are coming when its dark.  Please note there are no street lights and at night time it is very dark.  (Great for viewing stars and the moon on clear nights)

Precise details:
We are directly on the A4130, on the left if approaching from Wallingford, roughly 800m after the turning for the Recycling Centre.
The very short driveway is straight off the main road immediately after 'The Cherries' bus stop (which is on a long driveway - this is our neighbour).  The Cherries have red reflectors at the end of their driveway - we are about 20m further on.  Look for the sandwich board which has white reflectors at night.  If you get to The Hillside and Oakley Edge house signs and driveway you've just missed us.   The driveway is in the middle of a long beech hedge.

If you are approaching from Henley direction you will see two properties on the right in an elevated position (infront of the woods) as you approach the sign for Oakley Wood.  Their private driveway displays the signs 'Oakley Edge' and "Hillside'.  Our driveway about 60m further along on the right, in the middle of a beech hedge, by the tall Copper Beech tree. Look for the sandwich board which has white reflectors at night

From the M40:
If you come off the M40 at Stokenchurch you will come through Chistmas Common on the B481. Just after Park Corner your navigation will likely tell you to turn right towards Huntercombe End.  Unless you enjoy single track lanes with blind bends and potholes, ignore your navigation and contine on the B481 all the way to Nettlebed to pick up the A4130.  Your nervous system will thank you.

Phone signal can be sketchy!

Parking:
As this is a private venue, gates are opened 10 minute before all classes, events and 1:1 sessions.

If you are coming to a group class/event please park considerately so everyone can fit on the driveway.  There is space for up to 10 cars - come all the way into the driveway to allow other cars to get through the gate.  We kindly ask that you don't park on the grass.

If you arrive more than 10 minutes early another class/event may be taking place and you may not be able to park, or the gates might not be open.

Bus:
The No. 33 Bus stops outside The Cherries less than a minutes walk away on Sundays. It connects us with Henley, Wallingford, Didcot and Abingdon.

Train:
Didcot Parkway is served by the No. 33 Bus and has direct connections to London Paddington in around 40 mins.

Finding The Studio & The Cabin

When you enter the driveway and have parked, the entrance to The Cabin & Studio is to the left of the property, through the solid black wooden gate pictured above (with a grey Welcome sign) that is between the garage and the house porch.   The gate is usually open.  If it is not it means there is another class or session going  on and it will be opened shortly.

(There is a metal gate to the right of the house that we kindly ask you not to use)

As you come through the gate into a gravel courtyard, The Studio is on  your left (with the glass doors).  This is the location for all 1:1 sessions.

For The Cabin (classes and group sessions), walk through the courtyard towards the greenhouse and follow the gravel path that winds to the right around the greenhouse, then along the back of the garden to The Cabin.

We kindly ask that you stay on the gravel pathway rather than cutting across the garden in-front of the house.  It will also ensure you don't get muddy feet!

It's a minute or so to walk from your car - bring a brolly on rainy days!

What to wear:

- If you are coming for Pilates  please wear something comfortable that you can move in freely.  (Some studios ask you to wear tight fitting clothing in order to see alignment - although helpful I place feeling comfortable in what you are wearing above this)

- Please no exposed zips on clothing or rough materials as they can damage the mats
- The cabin is shoe-free  (there is racking to store them during class) , and there is a small space to hang coats

- Please have your phone on silent (or vibrate if needed in a emergency)

- If you cannot attend a class/event at the last minute please send a message if you can so we know to start without you

I look forward to seeing you x
