Session Information & Terms & Conditions
Thank you for booking in with me, I'm looking forward to working with you. This page should contain the information you need - getting here, what to wear, payment etc but if I've left something out please let me know.
Firstly please take a moment to read my terms which I have endevoured to make as fair as possible:
The Ts & Cs
Cancellations:
My terms of business are appointments cancelled with less that 24 hours notice are chargeable. Last minute cancellations really impact small businesses, as they cannot be filled. Please do not be offended if payment for short notice cancellation or missed appointments is taken. Confirming your booking is agreement of these terms.
Block Sessions:
Pilates & Treatment - I provide the option to purchase blocks of 3 or 5 sessions at lower rates than a single session. These have an expiry of 6 and 10 weeks respectively.
If I need to cancel your appointment for any reason I will increase the expiry date accordingly.
Communication:
I aim to respond to calls/messages/emails as promptly as I can. When I am with clients I will try to confirm I’ve received your message, and give you an idea of when I will be able to fully reply.
Unless time sensitive, I will respond to evening or weekend communications during the next working day.
Payment:
Sessions are payable at the time of booking in order to confirm your appointment.
Please see Offerings and Pricings for my rates.
I will send you an instant payment link (and my account details for transfer if you prefer) with your session confirmation - your payment is an agreement of these terms.
Health Screening & Informed Consent Form:
This form needs to be completed and signed before your first class or appointment as it gives me valuable information to prepare for your appointment. Please click the link below to complete the online form (you do not need a printer):

Easy landmark
The beautiful and enormous Copper Beech Tree next to our gate is pictured above is your best landmark. It towers above everything.
Precise details to find us:
We are directly on the A4130, on the left if approaching from Wallingford, roughly 800m after the turning for the Recycling Centre.
The very short driveway is straight off the main road immediately after 'The Cherries' bus stop (which is on a long driveway - this is our neighbour). If you get to The Hillside and Oakley Edge house signs and driveway you've just missed us. The driveway is in the middle of a long beech hedge.
From the M40:
If you come off the M40 at Stokenchurch you will come through Chistmas Common on the B481. Just after Park Corner your navigation will likely tell you to turn right towards Huntercombe End. Unless you enjoy single track lanes with blind bends and potholes, ignore your navigation and contine on the B481 all the way to Nettlebed to pick up the A4130. Your nervous system will thank you.
Phone signal can be a little sketchy!
Parking:
There is onsite parking.
Bus:
The No. 33 Bus stops outside The Cherries less than a minutes walk away. It connects us with Henley, Wallingford, Didcot and Abingdon.
Train:
Didcot Parkway is served by the No. 33 Bus and has direct connections to London Paddington in around 40 mins.
If you arrive early for your appointment I may be working with another client. I will come out to meet you when you are parked up.
Finding The Studio & The Cabin
When you arrive, the entrance is through the black gate (with a grey Welcome sign) that is between the garage and the house front door.
As you come into the gravel courtyard,The Studio is signed on your left (with the glass doors). This is the location for all 1:1 sessions.
For The Cabin (classes and group sessions), follow the stone path that winds to the right around the front of the greenhouse, then along the back of the garden to The Cabin.
What to wear:
Pilates/movement:
- Something comfortable that you can move in freely. (Some studios ask you to wear tight fitting clothing in order to see alignment - although helpful I place feeling comfortable in what you are wearing above this)
- I ask for no exposed zips or rough materials as they can damage the upholstery of the apparatus and the mats
- For your safety on the moving apparatus I recommend bare feet or grippy socks
- If you have long hair you will need to tie if back to avoid it getting caught in the the springs or mechanisms (yes - I have heard of this happening and it doesn't end well).
- Both spaces are shoe-free (there is racking) , and there is a small space in the cabin to hang coats
- Please have your phone on silent (or vibrate if needed in a emergency)
- Please no chewing gum (sorry for having to add this!)
Treatment:
- I will usually look at you posture in standing and in movement. Please wear suitably covered underwear/bra top/shorts/ (short in length) so I can see your alignment in detail and how your body moves.
Please remove any jewellery (necklaces/bracelets) that could get in the way.
